Zoom +/ and larger waypoint names--new user question.

I'm new to Gaia and love it so far over MotionX (RIP finally).

I would love to have a + and - zoom buttons instead of 2 finger zoom.  It's difficult to 2-finger while off-roading.  Plus, having buttons and knowing my starting zoom level I can ++ and know that if I -- I'm at the same zoom I was at.  

And is there a way to make the waypoint names larger?  Without glasses I can't see the names and I can't drive with glasses.  (I know, distracted driving, but I'm off-road, not that that makes it ok).
