distance between route markers

Hi. Is there any easy way to see the distance and elevation gain/loss between 2 route markers? I realize I can see it on the graph if I click on the route marker but then I have to recored the values for both markers from the graph and subtract them. There has to be an easier way. I have fully read the help articles about routes and can't find this. It would be great to have a list with each route marker and the distance and elevation gain/loss between them.
