CarPlay Connectvity Broken with v 2026.4.2

The latest update (2026.4.2) seems to have broken CarPlay connectivity. All that  a black screen. Sometimes there is a blue location dot, but sometimes not even that. I’ve tried restarting my iPhone and also restarting Gaia but nothing works.

Any suggestions as to how to fix this?

  For me, an annoying temporary fix was to toggle a new layer on and off.
