How to change the default folder Gaia saves to?

How can I change the default folder that iOS Gaia is saving tracks and waypoints to?  I find all sorts of instructions on how to move an item to another folder, which is what I have to do every time I complete an activity.  There must be some way so that Gaia will save the activity the first time to the folder I specify.  Why must I do the extra step of moving the activity from the folder I don't want it in, to the folder I do want it in?
