Android head unit question - This app wont work on your device

Hello all

I was able to update my Android radio head unit in the jeep from Android 13 to 15, so the Device info says….Since this update, Gaia on the Play store says : This app work work on your device. Further investigation show that my ‘Play Protect certification Device is not certified’ and the solution seems to be : Lock bootloader to fix issue

To fix the device certification issue, your device bootloader needs to be locked. The next step to ‘lock the bootloader’ was to get my radio into usb debugging mode, which I was never able to do…as the device is rooted and may not have the ability to go usb debugging where I could run adb command to lock the bootloader, so Gaia does not complain. This is more a head unit problem than a Gaia problem, as other apps now also complain ! Anywho, any intelligence on this situation would help… thank you in advance ! André
