OpenStreetMap tagging
AnsweredHello. I notice on the Gaia Topo map you have different border colors for different "public land" types e.g. state parks are red, etc. Can you tell me what specific tags in OpenStreetMap are being used to drive these border-color renderings? I notice some colors inconsistency near me in the Boston area and I suspect it's because of uneven tagging in OpenStreetMap. I'm an active OSM mapper and can help drive consistency here with my edits.
Thanks.

I would also find this information quite useful. The legend is available here but it doesn't show how specific OSM tags are rendered.

Hey y'all,
Thank you for contributing to OSM and for checking in about Gaia Topo integration. The public land colors are derived based on name, not tags. We're happy to take a closer look at a specific area that's not classified as expected. Would you mind opening up a new Support ticket so we can check out the area of concern?
Thanks!
