Summary stats for track recording do not match graph

The summary stats in my track recordings do not match the graph totals.  I am speaking specifically to distance (but may also be an issue with elevation).  When i view the same gpx file in another app (Garmin Connect, Alltrails), the distance is closer to the graph as well.  This leads me to believe the Gaia GPS stats somehow have a calculation error.  I noticed a similar bug identified 3 years ago related to routes, but i'm not sure if it was resolved.  Regardless, this appears to be a current bug affecting tracks.  If i'm missing something super obvious interpreting the data, please comment to let me know.  Thanks
