Adding Google Directions to Gaia

In Gaia I request driving directions. The app takes me to google maps and displays the route. I’d like a way to import that route back into Gaia.

  @hwhomes, thanks for your idea to improve Gaia GPS. 
  
  While it's not possible to add Google Map routes to the Gaia GPS app directly, you can do so in a browser: 

  1. go to mymaps.google.com
  2. add a directions layer: Save directions on My Maps
  3. export directions layer as KML: Download map info
  4. Import KML File on gaiagps.com
  5. Sync to your device to view the path in Gaia GPS
