The Gaia maps staff don't create the maps from scratch, they pull in data from various sources and in some cases choose how they want the map info displayed (eg. what colour is the background and topo lines, the icon for a campsite, etc.). The info comes from various other companies and organizations.
Which map layer would you like the campsites to be added to? If it's the Gaia basemap or any other map with openstreetmap listed in the copyrights under the map layer name you can add them yourself. Go to the openstreetmap website and click edit in the top left, then log in and you can add roads, campsites, etc. Draw an area surrounding the site and set camp as the area type. Then fill out any other information you can find. Here's some more info: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:tourism%3Dcamp_site

Hey @a.lomonac,
Chris is right. Gaia Topo, as well as several other sources in the app, are based on OpenStreetMap data, an Open-source and public mapping project.
You can find additional instructions on contributing to OSM here: Contribute to OpenStreetMap
If you decide to contribute any updates to OpenStreetMap, you'll see the changes in Gaia GPS in two to three weeks.
