Friday 13 Sync is VERY slow

Syncing my Android devices today (on wifi) and the process has taken over an hour so far.  The app does not provide any details regarding the sync, is something wrong?

  This is unbelievable! I added a "hike" in Panamint Valley called 'BLM P168' and it seems to have an associated map with 1 trillion tiles.  The download has taken over my android devices, constantly downloading this massive map.  I successfully deleted the 'hike' on Gaia.com, however I cannot delete it on the Android devices.  I cannot sync the devices, I cannot stop the download and I cannot delete the map. 

  Beware of hikes!  How can this happen!  The downloads simply continue until the device battery is drained.  This is very bad! I cannot use my navigation app when I need it.

  Crickets!!! Gaia, please contact me ASAP. Please! Please! Please! Please!  You APP and this rogue map have taken over my devices.  Do I need to delete the Gaia APP?!?!?!?!?!?

   

  My demeanor is close to moving away from civil on this issue.  Someone simply MUST contact me ASAP. NO MORE FORM EMAILS PLEASE!
