Ruler and mark waypoint by azimuth & distance

It would be awesome if there was a ruler, like there is in Google earth (No, not like the route feature). I’d like to see how many yards it is from point to point without creating a route or changing the distance increments from miles, feet, etc... It would also be great if we were able to enter a range from current location, and while setting the azimuth by pointing the phone, mark the spot on the map at that range. To put it a different way, I want to range a deer with my rangefinder, plug that range into Gaia, set the azimuth and have that spot show up as a waypoint on my map.

  This feature would be greatly appreciated. I am constantly trying to draw lines along an azimuth in Gaia.
