Gaia Topo -- Map corrections needed in Colorado
AnsweredThe following summit labels need to be fixed on Gaia Topo:
Mt. White (NW of Salida, CO) -- the lower eastern sub-summit is currently labeled as the true summit. The true summit is just to the west at 13,667'. Peak details: https://www.summitpost.org/mount-white/446757
Chipeta Mountain (SW of Salida, CO) -- In October, 2019, the name Chipeta Mountain was moved from a lower sub peak to the true 13,472-foot summit of the mountain a half mile to the north. Gaia Topo still shows the name on the lower 12,800' subpeak. Details: http://www.chipetamountain.com/name-change

Hi Mark,
Thanks for writing in about these errors.
Gaia Topo, as well as several other sources in the app, are based on OpenStreetMap data, an Open-source and public mapping project.
You can actually contribute to OSM in order to update features on the map. Read more about this and find instructions here: Contribute to OpenStreetMap
If you decide to contribute any updates to OpenStreetMap, you'll see the changes in Gaia GPS in two to three weeks.
