Color-coding (filling-in) specific blocks of private land

I use the Private Land layer regularly, to determine ownership for access permission. Presently, I must identify these blocks with a waypoint, which at large scale, look like any other waypoint.
I would like to keep known properties visually separate from other private parcels, through shading the blocks a specific color - say fuchsia, just for shiggles... some color that doesn't already appear in an open layer, identifying something else. Like filling-in a shape in a Paint program.
If this feature is already available, I do apologize. Please advise.
