slow map refresh

I have 1GB internet (usually it is about 400 down and 100 up via WiFi connection).  I am using a Lenovo laptop with an Intel i7 processor and 16GB ram.  My map refresh rates are PAINFULLY slow.   Any suggestions?

  Can you try the following?

  • Confirm that you are running the latest version of Chrome
  • Disable any browser extensions
  • Reboot your computer

  
  If you are still having trouble, can you try accessing gaiagps.com using another web browser such as Firefox or from another computer?
