ADDING TEXT & SYMBOLS TO MAP

I'm a bit surprised but, unless I really missed it, apparently you cannot add text to a map (name of a waterfall, trail, campsite, etc., often to show the location of such), nor customary map symbols (such as trailhead, bridge, campsite, etc.). This is an absolutely essential requirement for a first class mapping program, and certainly for producing maps you want to show someone of your trip. PLEASE ADD!!!

  It is possible to accomplish this with waypoints in the app.
  
  You can add waypoints to mark the location of certain items on the map by following these steps:

  • Create and Edit Waypoints

  
  To display the waypoint's name, toggle on the Waypoint Label overlay:

  • Show or Hide Saved Data on the Map
