iOS: How to change default folder for saving new items?

Hello,

I have multiple folders in my Gaia account. Whenever I am out hiking and I save a new waypoint, track or other item, it is saved to a folder I was using for a series of hikes in a different area. That project is done, and I am now exploring a different area for which I created a new folder. When I save new items, they go into the older folder. How do I tell Gaia to make a different folder the active default for saving new items?

I know how to change the folder for each item, but that should not be necessary in this case.

I searched the help topics and this forum and could not find an answer.

  Hi Maurice, 
  
  Next time you save a track or a waypoint, you can change the default folder listed under "Add to a Folder." 
  Tap the old folder's name, and then tap "Change Folder" to pick a new default.
