Changing sim cards
When I change, update sim cards in android, the root folder name changes. I copy previously saved sim data to new card and place the new card in my tablet. Unfortienetly gaia looks to the new sim card name (chose by android and unchangeable) to download new maps, but to the old sim card name for route to old saved maps. Since there are literally days of downloading on sim cards, the only way to use or reuse old saved maps is to start downloads all over to new sim card and erase the maps saved to old sim card names which gaia no longer finds. I want to be able to upgrade to new or larger sim and just transfer data from one to other, plug itin tablet and have it work just as it did on old card. Or transfer card to upgraded tablet when it's time for new one and have multiple cards with different states or areas on them that are to big for single card.
Thank you

It's not possible to directly transfer Gaia GPS maps between SIM cards, sorry about that.
You can sync your data between devices with these steps: Backup, Sync, and Transfer Your Data
If there are maps you don't use on your SIM card, you can archive them. Archiving maps removes them from your device, but they are still saved to the website and you can sync them later if needed. This can save you time when syncing, as there will be fewer maps to sync.
Here are the steps for archiving: Archiving, Unarchiving, and Recovering Lost Data
