Expand text on topo maps

When I zoom in on a topo map, the map gets bigger but the text stays small. For instance, trail names don't get bigger. It would be great if they did.

  Sorry you are having difficulty viewing map text.

  • Some vector maps, like Gaia Topo, have fixed styling at each zoom level in Android. Unfortunately, there is no way to make the text labels bigger on these map sources. 

  • Other raster maps, like USFS Classic, have labels that do get bigger at increased zoom. It's as if you were holding a magnifying glass up to a paper map.

  To increase visibility device-wide, you might consider experimenting with these Android Accessibility features:

  • Magnification
  • Font Size and Display Size
