Filtering public tracks

Yes! It would also be nice to be able to filter by date just in case trails have changed or roads/bridges have washed out - it would be nice to be able to see at a glance which tracks are current

Yes please! Being able to filter public tracks would help a lot. Filter by date and activity type is critical. While your at it, add a activity type requirement to recording tracks.. being able to filter out by activity would be so much easier this way.

I agree with the requests to filter by activity.  I think the only way to identify the activity is to go to the details page and scroll down to the stats.  But sometimes (often) that doesn't make sense.  Looking at a pace of 02:29 min/mi with a person walking icon but the moving speed is 25.3 mph and the avg speed is 24.2.

One more vote here. It would be great to be able to show only specific activities, length, etc.
There is a lot of data in Gaia now, but not there to be found.

Not sure if anyone from development sees this, but thanks for considering this.

I’m only using Gaia for motorcycle/dirtbike routes, so being able to isolate to specific tracks would be great to have so I don’t show up to a hiking trail or something not allowed for motorized vehicles. This is an essential feature I feel, as well as having a type of activity requirement.

I agree with the poster. I'm not able to find public tracks that showed up on the maps previously. It looks like they fade away after a certain amount of time? I would really like to see public tracks from all years. Let me load them in if I so choose. Right now Strava has the edge over Gaia in this.
