Adventure Motorcycle Dashboard

Gaia is an incredible app for exploring the back country, and I find it is one of the best apps to use on my motorcycle.

However, it is not designer for the purpose and it feels like a compromise when using it on an iphone mounted to my handlebars.

There are a few things I'd change, notably:

• The ability to rotate the map according to the direction I am pointing. ie the arrow stays pointing forward, and the map rotates according to the compass point
• On a related note, when the phone is mounted horizontally, the compass is off by 90 degrees (the compass direction is based on where the 'top' of the phone is pointing, which is sideways when mounted horizontally)
• Larger speed/total distance/time meters
• Ability to customise the data we see on the main screen
• Turn-by-turn routing

With these added features, Gaia would be by far the best app for off-road/adventure motorcycling. These features would also be useful for 4x4'ing and maybe even snowmobiling.
