Option to disable map previews in the routes/waypoints list

For large collections of routes and waypoints, the map previews are a drain on power and bandwidth. I have a collection of 4,000 routes, and Gaia is trying to create all the previews. My phone is red hot from the processing and Gaia is crashing regularly.

It would be great if there was an option to disable the map previews.

  I'm sorry you are having trouble with the app. While it's not possible to disable the route previews, I'm more than happy to look into why your app is crashing. 
  
  Would you mind sending me your device logs to support@gaiagps.com so we can take a closer look at this issue for you?
  
  Please open Gaia GPS > Settings > Other > Send Logs and briefly mention your issue. We will be happy to help you troubleshoot further.

  When I click "send logs" I get a small "error" message in the middle of the screen:
