Freehand Drawing feature request

With Android and iOS devices supporting touch screens and styluses, can we have a free hand drawing layer? It would be nice to be able to manually draw on the map and add markings for personal reference.

  Agreed.  Would be super handy for when you're doing route finding and don't have enough information to lay down a specific set of waypoints, but want some sort of premeditated route guidance.

  I have have been looking for this for a long time. Very useful when doing field work for orienteering map making.
