costomizable Map Scale and grid lines

Hey guys, I know there has been some push for this from other people as well but as a Search and Rescue member in BC who uses this application for everything from climbing, hunting and ski trips to Search and Rescue operations I would like to put in my 2 cents. I feel the ability to print proper maps with a good scale bar, customizable grid lines and compass, and adjustable scale are mandatory features of any mapping application requiring a paid for subscription. In my opinion this is the area needing the most work and to me seems like a fairly simple update only requiring additional overlay options and zoom capabilities.

  I agree. Must have the ability to print usable maps with usable scale, grid, and compass, for proper navigation.

  Yes, grid lines are necessary (at least now there is declination and an acceptable scale)

  I couldn't agree more. What's a map without a proper scale? Ideally there would be an option to select a standard scale (ie, 1:24000 or 1:100,000 etc) before printing, saving or downloading. Please work on this. It's the difference between GaiaGPS being barely sufficient and being great.
