download high resolution maps?

As you may know, one can not download a large high resolution map to print from GaiaGPS.  You can download a small high res map, and you can download a large low res map, and you can download files to use but not print at high res.  Does anyone know a source for printing high resolution maps that will also allow me to add my GPX tracks on the map and print the tracks along with the high res contour map?  I'd like to print the area around Yosemite Valley with all the hikes we have done over the years.  I can't seem to find a source that will allow me to add GPX tracks, then download the giant file to print and frame.  And for that matter I don't understand why Gaia puts a limit on download size/resolution.
