Beta Test the Next Generation of Gaia GPS for Android
After a year in the making, the next generation of Gaia GPS for Android is now available for beta testing.

The link didn't work.

Get rid of all the html crap. It's naught but clogging nonsense. Do you have any idea how much extra bandwidth you eat up with all that? Your message was about 2800 bytes. The html? A STAGGERING 75000 BYTES !!! AND it didn't work for all that. Oh, I know that we all have all the bandwidth we can use, right? Nope. If that were true, there would not be different $$ package for different bandwidths. Amazon got the message. Now all their notifications are plain text (well, plain UTF-8, which is OK).

I figured that I was eager to see what all the ballyhoo was about, but even after I logged in here, it is not that evident. I did check my pending device updates, and Gaia was not one of them.

Another broken rule of the internet: undated web pages.

The date should be clearly visible at the top of the page as a //courtesy and sign of respect for the readers' time//.

I have droid auto updates turned on...will I get the beta? I'm pretty sure I enrolled as a beta tester in the past...how do I know?

Android Beta Bomb...but prolly not the way you meant it.

    Would you mind letting me know what email client you are using so we can ensure our links are compatible across all email clients?

    Additionally, you can check to see if you are already beta tester by following these steps:

    • On your device open the Play Store > search for Gaia GPS > Tap the app icon
    • If you are in the beta program a message stating "You're a beta tester for this app. Future updates will include beta versions" will appear on the app details page.
