As a back country skier it would be nice to have an alarm/notification when i hit a certain elevation when skiing down.   Many times we hook up several runs but must traverse over to the next run at certain elevations.  If we drop below the desired elevation we will miss our traverse elevation to get to the next run.

  To expand on this, I would like to set geofence locations so I can know I'm getting close to a point in my route.

   

  I suspect this is similar enough to Fritz's request it wasn't worth making a separate request. So perhaps a local notification for elevation, location, etc.
