Better download manager

Hi,

I notice every time I download maps regardless of device downloads will stop but the icon is still spinning likes it’s downloading. If I restart the app, downloads start. The download manager could use lots of help in understanding of downloads are actually going, time to go, storage used, management of etc . Are there any plans to improve this part of the app?

  Hi there,
  
  When a download is in progress, you are able to tap the green spinner to see the progress of active downloads. From this screen, you can stop or resume downloads and see the speed for each download.

  My remark for the idea of a download manager would also include a switch to allow downloads via 3g/4g connection or wifi-only, how is this working right now?

  You can prevent using cellular data for offline map downloads by following these steps to turn off the auto-resume setting:

  • Prevent Map Downloads from Resuming
