Please import notes/comments from waypoint files

Google Earth stores comments in the waypoint's Description field. When I upload those waypoints (as kml files) to Gaiagps.com, the comments are lost. I have hundreds of waypoints that I'd like to upload to Gaia, but I don't want to retype the hundreds of comments. I wish Gaia would import the notes/comments when importing kml files. Thanks!

  Thanks for posting - I think many folks would find this to be a helpful addition.
  
  In the meantime, you can convert your file to a GPX file and your notes will import into Gaia GPS. I recommend using http://www.gpsvisualizer.com to do that.
