actual Android root dir names for internal and external storage?
In a separate post that was closed with this reply...
This depends on the phone's manufacturer. Samsung devices typically show the SD card as /storage/xxx-xxxx.
the question was not answered. Part of the problem may be because of the use of the word "root". The docs mention in a few places about the device names, and sure enough, my Samsung follows that convention.
What I can't find is the dir name of the GaiaGPS app. For example, I can see that my Morse code trainer stores its stuff in a dir called 'cw'. and so on. But I didn't see one called gaia...the app itself refers to changing the root dir, and maybe it ought to refer to storage devices, instead.

You might find a file called com.trailbehind or similar. All app data is contained in a single file and not a directory.
