Photos taken within Gaiagps iPhone app have incorrect photo-taken time stamp
AnsweredI noticed that on a trip in May 2018 all the photos that I took using the GaiaGPS in-app take picture function, had incorrect timestamps on the photo EXIF info; 6 hours later than current time. Photos taken with the normal iPhone camera app had the correct time stamps. (IPhone 6s, all updated with the latest IOS & Gaiagps app at that time.)
Has anyone else seen similar issues? Was this a known Gaia issue? Has this been resolved in the current version? (I cannot re-create this problem now.)

I'm sorry you are having trouble with the time stamp on your photos taken in Gaia GPS. We are currently tracking an issue where photos are being tagged with UTC time and not being translated back to your current time zone. I'm very sorry for any trouble this issue may cause - we definitely understand the importance of having properly tagged photos and data.
