    I've had similar experiences on the Android side.  I found better success once I developed a work flow that only downloaded one map at a time and then move on to the next.  I typically set up the downloads on my tablet and run them during the day as I'm doing other work.  At then end of the day, I'll set up my phone to sync and then let it gather the day's maps over night while I don't need the phone.  I've also found there is great variation in the download speed of various maps.  Ironically, GaiaTopo seems to be one of the slowest.

    I'm sorry you are having trouble downloading maps in the app. When trying to download a large number of map tiles, like @snell mentioned, downloading only a couple maps at a time can help your download speed for each map download.

    Also, I recommend using the “Download along Track/Route” (iOS/Android) when planning a long trip.

    I have been having the same problem.  I attempted to download maps overnight only to find that a few had not downloaded.  Multiple attempts to Resume Download only seem to bring the map download to the same place, then stop.  This is with downloading two maps. 

    A related problem is that I will regularly download maps for an area that don't provide the Success indication yet say 100% downloaded.  Is the download really complete? 

    I've learned the hard way to double check that Gaia has fully downloaded everything due to being "out there" without any cell service or WiFi only to find that downloads had not completed.  A single panel with download status (% downloaded plus current instantaneous download speed) of all maps that are not fully downloaded would be nice.

    - The map sources you are trying to download
    - What kind of device (Apple or Android) you are using?

    The issue with no Success indicated seems to occur randomly with many different type sources, when I'm trying to download the maximum number of maps for various areas (often created to accommodate the limit on tiles) simultaneously via WiFi. 

    Specifically, the issue with the map taking a very log time to download occurred with the National map.  I tried many times via WiFi and cellular.  It finally completed about 20 hours later after many attempts to resume download, including rebooting my iPad Pro.

    This issue may be due to how many map layers are being downloaded at once. 

    Can you send us your activity logs and let us know the name of one of your map downloads that is taking a long time so we can investigate this further?
    - Open the app> Settings> Other> Send Logs
