Hi Sharon, Thanks for posting. Your workflow is part of the vision for how to use the Discover tab and finding hikes in the app.

Since the release of the Discover tab a few months ago, we have been working to improve this feature in the app and on the website. Currently, saved hikes are just visible in the app, however, the option to access them on gaiagps.com is on the to-do list of features to add.

In the meantime, as a workaround, you can follow these steps to view the hike and print on gaiagps.com:
    1. In the app, open the preview screen for a saved hike> tap the 3 dots in the top right> Share
    2. This will give you a link to this hikes webpage on gaiagps.com
    3. On the hikes page, click GPX/KML > GPX
    4. Upload the GPX file to your account by following these steps.
    5. Then you can print a map with this trail labeled on it.

Thanks, Robyn!  When I tried to follow the steps I ran into trouble downloading the gpx file. I had installed Google Chrome as suggested but when I put in the URL for downloading the gpx I got a page saying “the site can’t be reached.”  I’ll wait until the kinks are worked out. No problem.

Sharon, I'm sorry for the trouble. Can you send me a copy of the URL you are using so I can take a closer look at this issue?

Also, here is a copy of the GPX file for Maze Loop Trail and North View Loop that you can download through DropBox:

Hi, Robyn,  Here's a screen shot that I took when I couldn't get the GPX.  Unfortunately I can't remember or recreate what I was doing.  Now I can't even find anyplace in Gaia GPS on my iPhone to try to download a gpx file.

Thanks for the file.  I don't really need any of this for a practical purpose - I've made a few instructional videos on Gaia GPS for beginners and I was just puttering around to see about the new Discover feature. Thanks!  Sharon

Thanks for sending over your screenshot, Sharon.

Currently, hikes found in the Discover tab are only able to be shared via there webpage where you can export a GPX file for the hike. Please let me know if you are having trouble finding the option to export GPX files for your saved tracks, routes, and waypoints.

I'm having trouble replicating this issue to get this type of URL - I definitely want to look into this issue further. If you come into a URL like this again, please let me know.

I went to gaiagps.com using Google Chrome on an iPhone xs max. I clicked on hikes, selected maze loop north view, clicked download .gpx and got that screen. I made a screen recording as I did it but I don't see a way to send it to you.

    Thanks for the update.
I was able to replicate this issue with these steps and have created a bug report for this.

Thank you again for your help in investigating this issue.
