Add ability to store track color in GPX files.
From https://help.gaiagps.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360025960594-Change-color-of-imported-gpx-track:
Extend the GPX schema to include track color, e.g., by implementing Garmin GPX Extensions v3 (https://www8.garmin.com/xmlschemas/GpxExtensionsv3.xsd) and persisting the track color data within the GPX file.

If you're terminal-friendly, you all might want to check out gaiagpsclient, which can do this for you, by translating to and from gaia's non-standard track coloring system:

So update based on my troubleshooting with this since its been an issue with the files i used from groups with trails and color marking is crucial.
KML/KMZ color maintaining on import does work if using the the website (which means it cant be giant), I have been fighting this for months and finally broke apart a section of the KMZ file I downloaded in google earth and imported on website and track colors and are a colors imported correctly.
I used the same file in the iOS app (which I had been using for these files all the time due to website would import that big) and even with it being a smaller files it randomized the colors on tracks.
So I doubt gpx color support will ever be added since its extra and not part of formal GPX spec but just convert it to KML/KMZ in GPS Visualizer and colorize it in Google Earth (it might maintain it in conversion I don't have any to test
