Is there a way to let the screen go to sleep with Gaia is running on iPhone?
I just got an iPhone and installed GaiaGPS on it. On android the screen would turn off after a while even while the app was running but it seems on the iPhone it stays on. So if I look up something quickly while hiking I have to turn the device off manually or it will burn through the battery quickly. Is there a way to turn off "Keep screen on"?
On the bright side the iPhone app is by magnitudes faster than the Android app.

Thanks for posting.
I recommend toggling on the Screen Lock option in the iOS version of Gaia GPS which will use your iPhone's proximity sensor to automatically turn off the screen whenever your iPhone is placed into a pocket.0 -
Can you tell me how to find this setting? I know the "lock after x seconds" setting but that doesn't lock when Gaia GPS is active.

Sure thing, you can find this setting by long pressing the expand icon> toggle on 'Lock Screen'.

Sorry, now I am really confused. How can I find this? I have used Android for the last years so I am not familiar with iOS.
