    Thanks for posting.

Currently, you can view known routes and public tracks along those routes by tapping any trail on Gaia Topo then the 'Info' icon.

Also, you can browse known routes based on public tracks in the app by tapping the Discover icon in the bottom toolbar.

Thanks for the info. Though I feel that's a 'workaround', it would be far more useful if the tracks would be overlaid on the map, instead of having to search for some trail on the map and having to click the info icon. Also I don't (and others may not either) use the Gaia Topo as my default map, so it also requires to change the map layer every time (the web page version supports overlaying the public tracks on any map layer)

Yeah, but the problem with that is that it always starts off with showing me hikes 'near me', so it's very cumbersome to look for hikes in a specific area. An option to having this search for hikes depending on the current map location would be awesome (see my feature request here: https://help.gaiagps.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360023308794-Discover-new-hikes-using-map-center-location)

    Thanks for listening!

Thanks for following up Nathan. I explored both of your suggestions and neither is able to provide what I'm looking for. Since I use public tracks specifically for route finding during backcountry ski touring, public hikes are not useful, public tracks are.

Thanks for your feedback on how you use Gaia GPS in the field and I see how adding the option to view the Public Tracks overlay in the app would be a benefit.
