Caltopo QR code scanning import

I would like to request the ability to scan the QR code for a planned route made on caltopo, which would import your caltopo planned route directly into gaia. Avenza maps does this and it is an incredible feature for a free app.

  I use the QR code feature of Caltopo/Avenza with staff, friends, and clients all the time, but don't see a way this could be compatible with GAIA unless they included support for geo-referenced PDFs to be imported as custom map layers.
