Routes show up in multiple folders
I spent some time using the archive function to clean up the main map. Now that there are archived routes and waypoints I want to be able to turn them back on in the future. I am not sure if my folder hierarchy is set up properly so...
I live in the North East. I frequent a few states and each state, there are numerous trails, in many different parks and regions. I have taken the following naming convention for my folders.
>State
> Region or Park
>Trail or Trip
So it might look like...
>New Jersey
> Stokes State Forest
> CopperMines / AT
I store the route, waypoints, maps and track in the final folder.. in this case CopperMines / AT.
When I was archiving, I sorted all the routes by route name, and notice that I have multiple instances of the same route appearing in each of the folders as shown above. IE I save the track or route in CopperMines folder, I see that same route in the route list, residing in each of the upline folders.. When I use this folder naming conventions am I seeing multiple copies of the same route or the same route exposed in each of the folders? I don't want to delete something I shouldn't.

Hi Nathan, I have come across multiple posts where a Gaia employee responds by saying they have emailed the OP with detailed instructions. While I see that a solution is better the more specific it is to the user having the issue, not posting any solution to this OP's problem in this general post and comment section is not useful to the rest of us. I understand your intentions, but where can I find a solution to this user's problem so I can apply parts of it to my related issue. Thanks and keep up the good work.
