Slpoe angle shading
CompletedI want to see the slope angle on my map while using the iPhone version.
I have Gaia Premium
I know that CalTopo has slope angle as an option on their maps when using their website but I don't see how to enable the slope angle option when using USGS topo CalTopo.
I don't see a premium overlays option
Thanks

Sorry for the confusion. The Slope overlay can be found within the Premium Overlays section of the map catalog.- Follow these steps to add this layer to your layers list. (In the map catalog tap Premium Maps> Premium Overlays)
- Then, set this layer visible on top of your desired base map by following these steps.

This how-to install info for slope and shading overlays was exactly what I was looking for. Looks like these two overlays work well for any map on my iPhone. Not exactly intuitive. Thanks for clarifying!

Put more simply, the drill-down navigation is:
Map sources > Edit > Premium Maps > Overlays > Shaded Relief (and/or Slope).
Very helpful features for route planning!

Also doable on Gaiagps.com. On the Explore the Map page---
Layers > Add map sources > Premium Overlays > Shaded Relief (and/or Slope)
