I've searched around and was not able to find an existing post for this (which baffles me).
I've been using Onx Hunt maps for a couple of years and the one thing that got me to try Gaia (and pay for a subscription) is the ability to create polygons instead of pre-determined tiles. I also like the flexiblility of choosing which overlay data is included in my offline maps.
However a HUGE problem with both solutions is that offline maps must be first created on a mobile device. Creating these offline maps on a tiny mobile devices is tedious and MUCH less precise than what I can do on my desktop computer with 27" monitor (where I do 99% of my map scouting).
Please figure out a way to create areas using the web site that can then be converted to offline maps and synched to mobile devices - this would be a huge advantage over Onx Hunt.
