Can you click “Submit a Request” above and include a copy of your route so I can take a closer look?

I got 'fooled' by this at first. I find the Help useful, but not easy to use, so I just tried to use the tools without reading, which is my usual habit.

After you click Create, and before you place your first waypoint, select from driving, cycling, hiking...the menu is to the left of the map on my desktop, and I think at the bottom of the screen on my phone.

Also, I found that when I tried to create my first hiking trail, Gaia would not map to the trail I wanted, but one nearby, even though I was well zoomed in.

    Thanks for posting.

It sounds like there might be an issue with the trail you were trying to route along.

Can you let me know the coordinates of the area and the name of the trail so I can look into this?

Unfortunately, I don't know how to right-click  the map and get coords..Mt Washington, parking on White Mt Rd, I wanted to take the S trail that goes WNW across the Cutler River, and take the J Sherburne trail, but got routed to the Tuckerman Ravine trail.

Thanks for letting me the details on the route and I'll look into this.

In the meantime, you can use the Straight-line mode to route along the John Sherburne ski trail.
