idea for slow download speeds

 How about a mode for gaia that sends data back to gaia about slow map download speeds?  Or even better have some internal check on download speeds and if they are found to be slow then asking the user if they mind if the ap sends information back to gaia about the slow download speeds?  There are enough users complaining of slow download speeds, I am experiencing them right now tryign to download gaia roadmaps for the coast of potugual, and you control both ends of the pipe that you should be able to get the information you need to diagnose the problems without having to talk to users like me.
