Gaia GPS on Windows Desktop?
What can I do with Gaia GPS if I am limited (for the time being) to a Windows 10 desktop computer?

Plan routes, manage waypoints, view "public trips" overlays, download / upload data (gpx files) etc. It is a very powerful tool.

Plan route? I just watched the vid on how to create a trail on iPhone, and it referenced the ability to select driving, hiking, cycling. I don't see that on the desktop. I keep coming back to Gaia to try it, and I keep getting stuck. I think that it should START on the desktop, but the desktop seems crippled. My habit is to create stuff on the desktop, where I have all this real estate and a great keyboard, then send that to the device. Gaia seems to be backwards. I must use a clunky phone UI to do the heavy work. If that is not so, there ought to be a Windows vid just like the one for the iPhone.
edit...same night...I kept playing, and realized that I did not see the grey icons on the left of the browser that allow me to choose hiking, etc. I tried a route to REI, and it seemed to match my expectations, so I will now try other mapping options. Would be nice to have structured vids or tutorials for each platform.

@sten, did you figure what you could do with Gaia on Windows?
I got Gaia installed via BlueStacks, but it doesn't seem to recognize my location with an external GPS, so it's only good for planning with limited knowledge of current location.
