getting routes from computer to phone

I created a set of routes online on my desktop. Phone says it is synced but the routes do not appear in the saved routes area. On the other hand, created waypoints on the computer and those do show up on the phone in the saved waypoints. How can I get  routes from compute to phone?

  One alternate way to do it is to Export (under the Data menu) the routes and send them to your phone via email.  You can then open the attached file(s) directly into Gaia on your phone.  The routes create a new folder on the phone when doing it this way, but it is easy enough to move them to a different folder if need be.
