Cannot Edit Map

I created a large route, from Vancouver, Canada to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

The route went there and back and shows up on my main map page and also in my route selections.  When I click to edit the route now, it no longer is there.  I wanted to edit the route now to add the places we would be trying to camp or overnight along the entire route.

All of this was done using my desktop computer.  I have used the desktop before to create routes and then log into the APP on my Android phone to see the route when traveling.  I also us the iOS app on my tablet for mapping when I drive.

How do I get the edit feature to work again with my route?

Help, this has taken me about 40 hours of mapping to create the route with much of the travel off highway, so very detailed.
