PDF Maps
I think I may be asking something that has already been asked here, and I tried to read other threads but not sure they completely make sense to me.
There is a PDF Map (2 actually) for the Knobstone Trail in Indiana available in PDF online. I don't believe they are "georeferenced" however, the map has UTM coordinates for spots listed on the map.
The link to the map is here: https://www.in.gov/dnr/forestry/4224.htm ; one map PDF link is: https://www.in.gov/dnr/forestry/files/or-ktnorth.pdf
I downloaded MapTiler but still not entirely sure what i'm doing with it.
Any help or guidance would be appreciated. I'd love to be able to have this as a map layer within Gaia.

Thanks for posting and yes, we are looking into adding the option to import geo-referenced PDFs.
In the meantime, you can import the map as a custom map source in Gaia GPS using MapTiler. Once the map has been geo-referenced, you will need to host it and then it can be imported to Gaia GPS here: https://www.gaiagps.com/mapsource/add/.
Here's a great article from MapTiler with more information on hosting map sources: https://www.maptiler.com/how-to/hosting/.
