poor satellite imagery
How can I get better satellite imagery? I use this app heavily when hunting out west, love it, but when I leave topo to go to satellite I cannot get it to focus close up on my iphone.

which layer are you using? I find the mapbox satellite layer is much clearer and more up to date.

Obviously Gaia doesn't listen to their customers who are paying their wages. Maybe time to hire someone who can find better maps!

Even with a paid subscription to GAIA, the satellite imagery is not as detailed as Google Maps and Google Earth. After testing and comparing screenshots at the same zoom level, GAIA's world imagery is the closest match but still lacks detail. Considering the subscription cost, it doesn't seem worth it.
Better satellite layers would be great, especially for saving for offline viewing and especially since we're paying a fee!
