Using an S8, when I zoom in or out, the layers break up. Part of the map will be one layer another part of the map will be a different layer. Online or off, Doesn't matter. I have pics, not sure how to post from phone yet.

  Can you let me know if clearing the cached map tiles helps?

  • Open Gaia GPS > Settings > Storage > Clear Automatic Map Cache
