When selecting a waypoint for navigation, the list of choices can be displayed alphabetically or chronologically (when they were created). In the field, it's often much more relevant to order the list by distance from current location. Gaia is already computing the distance information (it's being displayed in the list) so using distance to order the list would seem relatively simple.
Similarly, when selecting a folder to store a waypoint, (and when browsing the waypoints already in a folder) the choices are listed only in chronological order of when they were created. This is both cumbersome as well as confusing when the same data list appears in a different order depending on which program feature is accessing it.
Please add the option to also display the list of folders alphabetically & waypoints alphabetically and by distance from current location.
