Estimated hiking and cycling times

Hi

I have made 2 new routes. Once finished I could see either estimated hiking or cycling time, but not both for each new route? Is it possible to have both estimated times for a new route?

  Hi Kate,
  Currently, the travel time estimated is tied to the Snap-to-Trail mode used to create the route, however, this would be an interesting feature to add. We can consider your post a feature request.

  I cannot find anywhere to view the estimated hiking (or cycling) time for a route that I have created, even though the route has snapped to a portion of an existing trail - where is this info ?  thanks

  I also cannot find this information. It would be very useful so I don't have to use other products to make these estimations.

  I cannot find the estimated hike time for a route I create! I assume we need to enable it somehow since a few comments in this chain mention that it is possible.

  This is definitely a needed feature.

  Does anyone know if Gaia can currently estimate hike times of a route?  I cannot find this feature either even though it seems that some used it several years ago.  Searching the internet also did not turn up anything.

  mvaska1,   Don't think so, it is something that I suggested several years ago. As different people walk at different speed, I suggested using an individuals profile to estimate the time, as far as I can see nothing happened.  I ended up writing a spreadsheet to estimate worst case times for me based on distance, total elevation and I also had criteria to add in rest breaks to get a total travel time. There are quite a few formulae on the web, but mine worked for me ok.
