    The main difference between a Legacy and Premium Membership is that the Premium Membership gives you access to all of the premium maps sources along with the ability to layer map sources and print maps on gaiagps.com.

    You can learn more about the differences between Legacy and Premium here.

    As a Legacy Member, I am not seeing an option to download maps for offline use.  Is this still a capability or does one need to purchase another type of membership?

    I'm sorry are having an issue downloading maps. A Legacy Membership does include the option to download offline maps. Can you verify that the app is logged into your Gaia GPS account?
    - open Gaia GPS > Settings > your email or username will listed under the Account & Subscription heading.

    Nathan,

    Logging back in fixed the issue.  Thank you for the quick reply.  I've been enjoying Gaia now for years and still loving it.

    Sorry to ask it so bluntly but, as a LLM (lifetime legacy) it would cost $20/year to access the premium maps (i.e. private vs public lands, Shaded relief...)?

    Thanks - Chad

    Yes, Premium Membership is required to access the premium map sources such as the US Private Land, Public Land, and Shaded Relief due to the fees and licensing that is associated with each map source.

    A Premium Membership is $39.99/year USD, but you can save 10-20% off your first year by clicking here.

    I am a legacy member.  I can still download maps, but I thought I could download satellite imagery maps.  I am no longer able to see my satellite maps.  Can you please explain?

    @stephwt,

    I'm sorry you're having trouble viewing your satellite maps. You can access a bunch of satellite imagery maps under the Satellite map category:

    Please click Contact Support at the top of this page to send an email to support directly and let us know the name of the map source you are trying to use and we can troubleshoot the issue.

    Hello, I was a paid member for several years. I thought I was a legacy member, and I now find access to off line maps is cutoff? what gives? I paid in the app a few years ago.
